Terms of Service

By downloading or using Artoon, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Pentarab grants you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Artoon on any Apple-branded device you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app, or resell or sublicense it. All intellectual property rights in the app, its styles, and its branding belong to Pentarab.

Artoon uses third-party AI image models to transform a photo you provide into stylized artwork. Results are generated automatically and may vary in quality, accuracy, and likeness. Artoon does not guarantee that any output will meet your expectations, resemble the input, or be free of artifacts.

Artoon offers an auto-renewing weekly subscription that unlocks generation across all styles. The following terms apply:

• The subscription length, price, and unlocked features are clearly displayed in the app before you confirm any purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription automatically renews for the same period at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• No refund is provided for the unused portion of a billing period, except where required by law. Refunds, where applicable, are handled by Apple.

To keep Artoon fast, affordable, and available to everyone, generation is subject to daily and weekly limits, including a smaller separate allowance for the highest-quality rendering tier. These limits exist to prevent abuse and to manage the cost of the AI services that power the app. When you reach a limit, generation pauses until it automatically resets; the app shows how full your current allowance is as it approaches the limit. We may adjust these limits over time.

You are solely responsible for the photos you upload and the images you generate. By using Artoon you represent and agree that:

• You own or have the necessary rights and permissions to the photos you upload.
• You will not upload photos of, or generate images depicting, real individuals without their consent.
• You will not use Artoon to create content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes anyone’s intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
• You will not use the app to impersonate others or to create deceptive or misleading depictions (e.g. deepfakes) of real people.

We may decline, limit, or terminate service for any use that violates these rules or the terms of our AI providers.

You retain your rights to the photos you provide. Subject to these Terms and the terms of our AI image providers, you may use the artwork you generate. The app itself, its styles, prompts, and design remain the property of Pentarab.

Image generation is performed by third-party AI image-processing providers, and billing is handled by Apple. Your use of the app is also governed by those providers' and Apple's respective terms and privacy policies. Pentarab is not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

Artoon is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. AI-generated output may be inaccurate, distorted, or unexpected. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generation results will be suitable for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pentarab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising out of your use of, or inability to use, Artoon or the images it generates.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Artoon if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time and cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Artoon after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
