By downloading or using Bori, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Pentarab grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Bori for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices you own or control.

• You may not copy or resell case text, illustrations, questions, or explanations.
• You may not extract, reverse engineer, or circumvent the app’s source code or its technical protection measures.
• You may not use the app in any unlawful way, or in a way that infringes another person’s rights.

The cases in Bori are works of fiction. Some are parodies that take their motifs from public-domain classics — Sherlock Holmes, Alice in Wonderland, Treasure Island, Journey to the West, the Korean folk tale of the rabbit and the turtle, and others — and the rest are original. None of them relate to real people or real events.

Bori gives you practice at spotting when a statement changes, noticing what has been left out, connecting evidence to a claim, filtering out irrelevant information, and deciding what order to check things in. It is an educational and entertainment product. It does not replace medical or psychological diagnosis or treatment, an intelligence test, or an academic assessment.

Finishing a case adds an anonymous record to the leaderboard. Manipulating scores with automation tools, or sending excessive requests to the server, is prohibited, and records made that way may be deleted without notice. The leaderboard is a supplementary feature and may be changed or discontinued without notice.

Full access, which opens the locked cases, is a weekly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. The price, the subscription period, and what is included are shown in the app before you confirm a purchase. Both products open the same content and differ only in period.

• Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• The renewal charge is applied to your Apple account within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel at any time in iOS Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.
• Payments and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies; refund requests have to be made to Apple directly.
• Promo codes are validated by the App Store, and the conditions for using one can differ from code to code.

Bori is provided “as is”. Pentarab does not warrant that the app will run without interruption or be free of errors on every device. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app.

If these terms change, we update this page and show the revision date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised terms.
